A stylish coffee roastery is a must for a town like Zlín. The one that sprung up here even bears its name in a sense, and you can find it hidden among factory buildings in the industrial complex of Svit. The coffee they make is absolutely phenomenal, and you can buy it as a souvenir at the tourist center downtown!
Every year, these genuine coffee lovers from Otrokovice tour around the country with their stand and bring their roasted beans to concerts and festivals. Although they started roasting as mere enthusiasts, they have made their mark on the regional coffee scene.
This roastery took a very scientific approach to making coffee. The owners bought an old bakery with a masonry bread furnace, connected it to their roasting machine, and went all out, making great-tasting coffee with the utmost care. You can come in for a cup of coffee or even book a tour of the roastery. They also organize coffee and barista courses.
A beautiful fairytale cabin with a lovely outdoor area, hidden in between spa hotels in the heart of Luhačovice. The parents of Lukáš Kaňovský, Jizba’s owner, used to run a small pottery workshop here back in the day. To honor their legacy, the roastery sells beautiful handmade drip coffee makers and espresso mugs. And let’s not forget about the great coffee and desserts!

The large coffee house, filled with a plethora of lush green plants, excels at throwing parties, making breakfast, and serving phenomenal coffee, which is no surprise to those who know it from its humble coffee bike years.
The design-focused Ebe Café can be found in the quarter of Mladcová, high above the rest of the city. The lobby bar of ALEXANDRIA in Luhačovice offers an elegant combination of marble and crystal. Come here for a cup of coffee, a hearty breakfast, or something stronger, and enjoy the majestic feeling that this building carries within, ever since 1939.
Until recently, this once famous café was most known for serving blue ice cream and whipped cream sundaes. Like a true phoenix rising from the ashes, it has become the fist spa café with cooked meals on the menu, while also having great desserts, chocolate truffles, and shaded terrace seating.
While this café may be the younger sibling of Café Malá Scéna, its old-time interior, featuring some of the original furniture, is a great reminder of the spa town’s golden age. And the desserts on display are an even greater reminder of the long-standing tradition of confectionery in the country.
The recent renovation of the colonnade has made room for small inner courtyards. One of these has been taken over by Salon de Thé, a relative of Kavárna v Myslivně and Café Malá Scéna. They’ll make you great pancakes and strawberries and cream, the all-time classic that our grandmas used to make. And the interior itself is a topic for another day!
