What a sight to see! At an old farm high above the small town of Bojkovice, a little bistro has opened up, serving absolutely amazing grilled pulled pork sandwiches and other goodies. Get yourself some coffee, homemade dessert, beer, wine, or whatever else you want, sit down in one of the colorful deckchairs, and admire the castle on the opposite hill. Does it get any better?
A frequent destination of Zlín’s Sunday hikers. You can easily reach it on foot or by taking trolleybus no. 32 from Školní stop, but you won’t regret taking the walking route, either. Easy to miss, but whoever finds it is rewarded with some notoriously great food.
They sure know how to cook around here! Romana quit her regular job to finish culinary school, opened her own bistro, and started serving vegetable meals that are simply to die for. Many famous chefs from Australia and North America have come all the way here just for a chance to cook for her.
Locally-produced meat, a selection of both meat and vegetable burgers, and the perfect location right by a park make Bůrger probably the most frequented bistro around. Try our summer combo – get a burger here, go over to the bar next to it for a refreshing half-liter of beer, and just chill in the park.
You’ll find this modern fast food joint with a twist in Obchodní Dům Zlín. Any savory or sweet deliciousness you can think of will be served to you in a kornout (Czech for cone, hence the name), and you can go on your merry way. For example, to the nearby park of Gahurův prospekt, where you can sit down and watch the sunset over the city.
This sushi bar opened only recently. It’s not even really a bar, as it’s delivery-only for now, but these guys can serve up some mean sushi. And we’re big fans!
The tiniest soup kitchen where you can get your daily dose of not only phở but also bún chả, bún bò nam bộ and other Vietnamese hits. You can take your delicious food to go or eat it right on the spot.
As we often say in Zlín (not really), ¡qué rico! Tacos, quesadillas, burritos and everything in between, served ready to eat and tasty as ever. After the advent of Asian cuisine, we are glad Mexican cuisine is finally getting recognized, too!
You can find the fries of this Czech franchise in almost every town in the country. And for good reason, too! The fries are great, the sauces that go with them even better, and they put up a potato of the month on the wall each month.

Bar 1931, a true success if you ask us, can be found in the newly renovated building of Obchodní Dům Zlín. They take their drinks very seriously, coming up with new recipes and combinations on the daily. Apart from the comfortable seating, you might also enjoy their drink tasting events and the fact that you can get a little something to eat here, too.
Right on one of Zlín’s main squares you’ll find Retro, a bar popular for both drinks in the evening and lovely American-style breakfast in the morning. If you drink one too many cocktails here, they’re ready to fix you right up the next day. Quite convenient!
Located on the same square as Retro, the underground bar of Sklep 33 has become a true Zlín classic. Frequented by university students and locals alike, this place is buzzing with activity every night of the week.
This bar regularly hosts concerts and music gigs and is known for its stylish interior and attracting large crowds of thrill-seeking Zlíners. Come here for culture, drinks, or just to hang out.
Pštros is one of those places that we are really happy to see do well. It is located on the edge of the city park, slowly encroaching on it as the night progresses. During summertime, you might stumble upon a DJ set or a concert, and thanks to their partnership with the adjacent Bůrger, they’ll keep you fed and entertained all evening long.
This bar, which doubles as a café, is a popular spot for fancy after-lunch digestifs, a cup of coffee or a little something to keep your sweet tooth happy. The styling resembles a more elegant era of days long past, and the service is great, too!
This night bar can be found on the colonnade, inside Společenský dům. People come here to dance, have a drink, and spice up their spa experience.
